WWKI is proud to team up with Military Foundation, Inc. to spend the word about the 2013 Military Appreciation Days. Military Foundation, Inc. has partnered with 75 Kokomo and Howard County Businesses and Institutions to offer special benefits for U.S Military Veterans. November 2nd through the 11th has been designated as Military Appreciation Days.
The purpose of this week is to create a county wide campaign designed to express the City of Kokomo's and Howard County's profound appreciation for all active military personel and veterans who reside in Kokomo and Howard County. According to Ross Waltemath, Howard County Veterans Service Officer, Howard County, Indiana has the highest number of Veterans per capita than any other county in Indiana.
