Science meets art
Indiana University Kokomo students are learning about biology through art. A relatively new science course at Indiana University Kokomo educates summer-school students on a plant's life cycle while creating petal pictures through pressing flowers. Indiana Univeristy Kokomo said the course counts as science curriculum, but gets students out of the lab and into the outdoors.
Country music meets racing
The 2014 Brickfest Music Fest is giving a big dose of country music to racing during Brickyard 400 weekend. The two-day festival kicks off Saturday, July 26 with The Band Perry and Justin Moore. Sunday night welcomes Brantley Gilbert and more Big Machine recording artists. We’ll be giving away tickets all week for festival that brings toegheter country music and racing.
