* At 1132 AM EDT /1032 AM CDT/, Doppler radar and automated rain
gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the
past 24 to 36 hours with some areas seeing as much as 4 to 6
inches locally. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area as additional showers and
thunderstorms continue to develop and move over the same areas.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Marion, Logansport, Peru, Wabash, Bluffton, Portland, Hartford
City, Rochester, Gas City, Upland, Knox, Fairmount, Winamac,
Dunkirk, Grissom Afb, Albany, Montpelier, North Judson, Jonesboro
and Culver.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
