Before you get too excited for that all-day McDonald’s breakfast thing starting next month, listen up — because there’s a huge catch.
Depending on what McDonald’s you go to, you’ll be able to get either McMuffin or Biscuit sandwiches — not both. Only certain kinds. For McMuffins, you’ll have three choices: Egg, Sausage, and Sausage with Egg.
For biscuits, the three choices are Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, Sausage with Egg, and Sausage. Sure, those are the standards, but it leaves out stuff like the Egg White McMuffin, and the Steak, Egg and Cheese McMuffin.
Basically, they don’t want their locations to be overwhelmed with cooking burgers and breakfast at the same time. As for which version you get, McMuffins or biscuits — it’ll be based on local preferences.
You’ll also be able to order pancakes, sausage burritos, yogurt, and oatmeal but not McGriddles or bagels. Hash browns may be available, but it’s not clear.
In other breakfast news, Waffle House sold their one BILLIONTH waffle yesterday morning. Shanneil McCollum ordered an apple crumb waffle in Atlanta, Georgia, right before 10:00 A.M.
They gave her some balloons, a plaque, a bag of Waffle House gear, and gave everyone in the place free breakfast.
