Drive Sober Campaign
After the numbers are in, Kokomo Police Department says they’re cracking down on drunk driving even more. In 2013, there were 114 fatal alcohol-impaired crashes. Kokomo Police Department is participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign, which lasts through Labor Day. The zero-tolerance for drunk-driving campaign puts KPD officers into overtime work to monitor and crack down on impaired driving.
Friday night at Indiana State Fair
Indiana State Fair is celebrating Friday with racing, Purdue University and country music. Chase Rice will take the Free Stage at 9 p.m. to play his chart-rising hit “Ready, Set, Let’s Roll”. The country crooner will take the stage after Maggie Rose (6 p.m.) and Brothers Osborne (7:30 p.m.).
