Winter 2014 is winner, winner

The numbers are in and, apparently, a congratulations is in order for 2014’s winter. The National Weather Service calculated 51.6 inches for December through Feb. 16; making this winter the snowiest Indiana winter on record. The former record holder was winter 1981-1982 with 51 inches.  Wondering how February stacks up to past Februaries? It’s currently in ninth place and we’re not even halfway into February.
