Garage fire will extinguish bus routes for Wednesday

Kokomo Central Garage was overwhelmed with flames yesterday; destroying six Spirit of Kokomo buses and burning the garage down to the ground in the process. The fire started just after 5 p.m. Tuesday. Kokomo Fire Department is still investigating what caused the blaze. Today, all Spirit of Kokomo bus routes are cancelled. Gov. Mike Pence talks State of the State

Gov. Mike Pence addressed Hoosiers in his second State of the State Tuesday night. Major goals for the governor in 2014 include: cutting the state’s business equipment tax and providing vouchers for low-income preschoolers. Although the House and Senate are considering lowering the business equipment tax, Pence said he wants to eventually phase the tax out.

Luke Bryan takes a swing at baseball stadiums

Luke Bryan will be taking himself and his country-crooning tour mates, Cole Swindell and Lee Brice, on tour this year, but the Georgia-native announced yesterday he’ll be making some special stops at Heinz Field and Solider Field for guest-filled performances. Dierks Bentley will be joining the stadium gigs as well.
